There is a lot of fun and exciting things to do in the Boise and Eagle areas of Idaho. It does not matter what the season is, plenty of activities are available throughout the year. These activities are enjoyed by residents and visitors of all ages. There is so much variety of both indoor and outdoor activities, the list is near endless.
Popular outdoor activities in the area include rock climbing at Table Rock, kayaking, fly fishing, boating, hiking, tubing, skiing and rafting. Tours available in the area include those at local breweries, the State Capitol, the Boise Art Museum and the History Museum.
Upcoming events in the area include:
- New Year’s Eve Potato Drop on December 31, 2013 from 5 p.m. until midnight at the Grove Plaza in downtown Boise. The holidays would not be complete without experiencing this event, which is sure to be an annual tradition.
- Live music is available on two separate nights – Thursday and Friday – weekly in the Eagle area. Stop by Bella Aquila on Thursdays from 6-10 p.m. and The Blue Moose Café on Fridays from 6:30-9:30 p.m.
