Upcoming Thanksgiving 2013 Events in Idaho

We are settling into the cooler fall weather and before you know it the holidays will be here once again. We’ve got a list of some upcoming Thanksgiving events for you and your family to enjoy this year.

  • The Pumpkin Smash at The Farmstead Corn Maze and Pumpkin Festival will take place on November 2nd in Meridian from 10am-11am and admission is free. Bring all of you leftover jack-o-lanterns and help return their unused pumpkins to the earth in the most fun and imaginative ways you can think up. Any usable pumpkins will be donated to the Idaho Food Bank. It will be a smashingly good time!
  • Hymns of Thanks is Idaho’s 11th annual Thanksgiving celebration. On November 24th come enjoy the beautiful performances with your friends and family starting at 6:30pm at the Century Link Arena in downtown Boise. The event is free to the public and visitors are welcome to make a monetary donation to the Idaho Food Bank.
  • Turkey Day 5k residents of Eagle, Meridian and Boise can take part in this annual race in downtown Boise. Come with your team of friends and family in your Turkey Day costumes and have a blast. The race takes place on November 28 with adult registration at $40 and youth registration at $25.
